For example, day 25 of that calendar would be a $25 donation for the individual fundraising, and day 15 would be a $15 donation.

Additionally, donating or multiple days adds the donations. For example, donating both days 25 and 15 on a calendar would be $40 donation.

‍So, what’s the point?

Why use a calendar format if you’re just trying to get donations? Well, the pick a date to donate calendar is a perfect way to set a clear fundraising goal for each individual on the sports team. The goal is for each player on the team to get a donor or “sponsor” for each date on their calendar – 31 total donations for each of the 31 days in a month. With 31 total days, finding a sponsor for each date leaves you with $496 raised for your team. In other words, by using a pick a date to donate calendar it’s an easy way to set a fundraising goal around $500 for each participant.

Another added benefit of running a calendar fundraiser is that it promotes donations of any amount from $1 to $31 (with the added ability to donate multiple days for large donations) which makes it a lot easier on friends and family of the fundraiser participant to show them support.
